At Halcyon Cycling Holidays, we offer a choice between fully guided and supported cycling holidays in both the UK and France. Our fully guided holidays include the dedicated services of a professional cycling guide, who will lead you along the various routes as part of your chosen package. This guide acts as your main point of contact during the trip and represents Halcyon Cycling Holidays throughout your stay. Should any issues arise, guests are encouraged to speak directly with the guide, who will endeavour to resolve any concerns promptly.

Alternatively, our supported cycling holidays provide a driver or representative as a support member of staff. This individual ensures you enjoy the best possible experience by offering a range of support services, including baggage transfers, mechanical assistance, repatriation, refreshments, and more. Please note that most of Halcyon’s cycling holidays are fully guided; refer to the specific holiday description to confirm the type of trip available.

What’s included:

Every holiday in the 2026 Halcyon Cycling Holiday programme is classified as either guided or supported—self-guided trips are not offered. The price of each holiday typically includes the following:

• A fully bespoke and detailed itinerary will be emailed to you one week before travel
• Accommodation
• Selected meals, depending on the holiday (please see individual descriptions for details)
• GPX files on most trips
• General tour information
• Luggage transfers
• A cycling guide with a first aid qualification on fully guided holidays
• Refreshment stops on the Rebellion Way holiday
• A fully qualified bike mechanic on The Rebellion Way and Hebridean Way holidays; otherwise, mechanical assistance if required
• The services of a Halcyon Cycling Holiday tour leader on each trip
• Transfers, if booked
